Dr. Monroe considers herself the luckiest person around. She gets to work every day alongside her husband providing high quality dental care to wonderful people! She loves chatting with every patient in order to find out exactly what they need and how best to serve them.
For her education, Dr. Monroe received her undergraduate degree from the University of Southern Colorado before continuing on to the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry. She then completed the Georgia Academy of General Dentistry MasterTrack program and achieved Master status from the Academy of General Dentistry (MAGD) in 2009, their highest honor available.
Dr. Monroe considers her continuing education part of her job, since she always strives to give her patients the best service available! She is a member in the College of Sedation in Dentistry (MeCSD), recognizing dentists with advanced training in dental sedation as established by the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology.
Dr. Monroe truly loves living in NC! She loves getting to know her patients, and enjoys seeing them out and about! Dr. Monroe believes strongly in helping those in need. She regularly volunteers for the Moore County Free Care Clinic, a health services organization that serves limited-income people who are uninsured and cannot afford access to health care. She has participated with Donated Dental Services, an affiliate of the National Foundation of Dentistry for the Handicapped. Dr. Monroe also volunteers with Give Back a Smile, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry Charitable Foundation's mission to assist survivors of domestic violence.
Helping people achieve a beautiful smile is Dr. Monroe's job, but making them smile is her passion! She truly enjoys the relationships she builds with her patients and loves that her job requires one-on-one attention to every person she serves.
